Rotospiral’s MD Raises an Impressive €23,021 for Men’s Mental Health Charities
Rotospiral is delighted to announce that our Managing Director, Larry Doyle, has significantly exceeded his fundraising target for vital men’s mental health charities. Larry’s ambitious challenge—growing a beard and hair until December, then having them shaved off at a fundraising event—resulted in an incredible €23,021 raised for Men’s Aid, Teac Tom, and local Men’s Sheds in Ireland. This far surpasses his initial goal of €10,000.

The fundraising event, held on December 7th at The Jerpoint in Thomastown, close to our head office in Co. Kilkenny, proved to be a huge success, highlighting the generosity and support of the Irish community. Larry’s commitment to the cause, which included a rather daring chest and back wax alongside the shave, truly inspired everyone involved.
The funds will provide crucial support to organizations addressing the critical issue of men’s mental health in Ireland. Teac Tom, a charity entirely reliant on donations, offers vital mental health support and suicide intervention services. Men’s Aid Ireland provides confidential support for male victims of domestic abuse, while the local Men’s Sheds offer crucial community support networks.
Larry’s personal drive stemmed from witnessing the impact of mental health challenges on individuals he knew. He stated:
“Throughout my years in business, I’ve witnessed firsthand the profound impact mental health issues have had… Having faced my own challenges and seen how underfunded and overstretched services have become, I feel driven to try to make a difference.”
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to this incredible outcome.
