Solid Rally Barbados Result for Roto Spiral’s Larry Doyle
Larry Doyle’s rally return reached a successful milestone in Barbados, where he completed the event in 38th overall, piloting the Group N Roto Spiral Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII with co-driver Tommy Doyle.

Against a backdrop of heat, humidity, and high-speed stages, Larry’s total time of +13:05.12 placed him safely among the international finishers—an achievement in itself on one of the most demanding tarmac rallies outside of Europe.
“Rally Barbados was exactly what I’d hoped for – tough stages, warm weather, brilliant people, and a rally atmosphere that’s second to none,” he said after the finish.
The Evo VII, making its first major appearance in Roto Spiral livery, performed consistently throughout the event. Larry credited the result to thorough preparation and the backing of his team both in Kilkenny and on the ground in Barbados.
While silverware wasn’t the objective, the rally provided a meaningful platform for Larry to reconnect with the sport on his own terms.
“The car’s back in one piece, and so are we. That’s a win in my book.”
